For this Esession, we definitely hit another first. First time a couple (Rob's idea) played music (via smartphone) throughout the entire shoot. And I have to say it really adds an extra fun element to the already fun process. We spent a short time walking in and around the National Portrait Gallery in downtown DC and had a great day laughing and photographing Rob and Nikki. Happy, in love and silly, just like we like 'em!
Its too bad we couldnt bring Luna along because she LOVES Rob, but I would have spent most of my time herding Luna instead of doing my job :)

I recently connected with Leslie, of Fancy Cakes by Leslie, after she created a fantastic cake for Olivia and Yujin's wedding (you may remember it because it was not your average wedding cake! - see below). Leslie is a true professional who has been in the business a long time, and can execute any cake you could imagine! She exhibited incredible hospitality... taking the time to sit and chat with me, and then sending me on my way with no less than half a dozen DELICIOUS cupcakes! They were so beautiful that I couldn't resist photographing them and sharing them on our blog. Be prepared the crave the little monsters! The one with the crumbled peanut butter cookie on top... oh la la!!! Enjoy the photos and then go find Leslie on Elm Street in Bethesda. Tell her we sent you!
