What a way to complete the wedding season! Jamie + Alex's wedding was spectacular and there were a few firsts... even for us!
We met Jamie almost 2 years ago on our tour of Thropewood, a then possible location for our own wedding (we highly recommend it). A few months later they booked us and the rest
was history. I'm sure most of you will rememeber their epic engagement sesssion at Glen Echo Park, if not have a look see here.
While earlier in the week there was some worries about weather and a potential dress disaster, everything worked out perfectly for the day of. It was seriously a great day with
great company and a bridal party that I want to take with us to Guatemala! Definitely a wedding to remember and cherish.
So what was Jamie and Alex's recipe for the day? Lets see...Custom Converse for the entire bridal party, Cocktail hour BEFORE the ceremony, Thorpewoods stunning venue, Jamie +
Alex + bridal party + family, pie, missing pants and shirts at the end of the night!

I think Robyn and Victor may have gotten one of the last nice days of September before all the rain and gloominess started.
We were so thankful to be there to capture it. The day was full of smiles and tears of joy, some of which we were guilty of ourselves. If you notice below we got a little crazy with our bridal party which we totally enjoyed, and I think they did also. Just be warned that when you ask your wedding photographer for creative and different bridal party pictures, thats what you'll get and boy do we love the challenge.
So what's the recipe for an awesome wedding like this?
·The boundless love of two mothers
·A couple that loves to laugh
·Mini pre-wedding bridal session in a bathtub
·Plenty of time for photographs
·A bridal party willing to do anything for pictures
·And staff at the venue who go above and beyond
