We only have one basic package. That may seem odd, but it has been thoughtfully designed to cultivate the conditions necessary for a great experience, and of course, to deliver a beautiful final product. We simply don't feel comfortable doing anything less. These are our four major objectives...

{connection}

There is often a bit of nervousness at first when you have, not one, but two cameras aimed at you by people you don't know well. This is not something you want to feel on your wedding day. We include the engagement session in our package because we want you to get comfortable with us, with the cameras, and with the way we work. That way, on your wedding day, you won't feel nervous with us or about being photographed. It's like a couple of friends are with you rather than strangers with giant cameras. Oh, and BONUS, you get amazing photographs too!

{time}

I don't know any other photographers who offer unlimited hours. We may be crazy, but essentially, we are willing to work longer days, in order to have more time for photographs. Wedding days are hectic, and being rushed or short on time is NOT conducive to our very best work. We use the unlimited hours to help you strategize your day so that it's more likely to flow smoothly and build in enough opportunities for amazing photography. This is huge! People spend a lot of time and money on their weddings and it all goes by so fast. We are here to help you make the most of it, both with your photos, and in your enjoyment of the day.

{preparation}

There is a theme here...weddings are hectic! Being prepared is key! If things are running behind and we only have 30 minutes, instead of an hour, we need to be efficient and know in advance what shots we want to get and where. We scout the venue in advance to start planning that out. We get the time line and portrait list from you early so we can make useful suggestions. We also attend the rehearsal so we know what lighting to expect, to talk to the officiant about restrictions, and familiarize ourselves with the flow of the ceremony. It also helps to start getting familiar with your important guests.

{coverage + creativity}2

Many photographers offer a second shooter, but this is not quite the same thing. Lionel and I are strong enough individually to shoot alone. However, we rely on each other’s artistic vision to keep every set of images unique and beautiful. You get double the creativity along with double the coverage. Shooting as a team brings our work to another level and truthfully, it’s a lot of fun. Maintaining the joy in our work keeps us passionate about what we do, and that shows through in your photos!
